In the aftermath of the Purge War, Elven Queen Kahlisenya made Hellharth disappear to protect her people and her daughter, Princess Ellarhyssa. With her magic weakening, Kahlisenya seeks aid from seers and Ellarhyssa is sent into hiding. The Queen's dark secrets, along with the return of The Son of Bashet, threaten to unravel the fragile peace of Arcadea.
Ellarhyssa finds herself struggling to adapt to her new life at Morning Song: School of the Arcane, especially with a dragon-halfling teacher who appears to inexplicably despise her. However, as time progresses, she uncovers the deeper connections between their lives and learns that some secrets are better left in the dark.
