Milky the Cat and the Magical Sloth
This hilarious picture book is about a cat who needs special powers to reach her bowl of milk. She tries butterfly wings, a monkey tail and even kangaroo legs. The book uses clever rhymes that two to four years old children can repeat and teaches that sometimes there's no substitute for good old fashion 'practice'.
The book is ideal to be read to children under four years old at bed-time or for older children learning to read.
Author, Leigh Burrell, wrote the book with his four year old daughter based on a neighbourhood cat that visits them from time to time. It's the first of several stories that the two are working on.
