From Darkness to light: A poetic journey through addiction, recovery and redemption.
Growing up, Charlie Shine loved being creative and enjoyed reading and writing, with a particular passion for music and playing in bands. This was soon to end as, for multiple years he suffered in the depths of alcoholism and drug addiction. Upon getting clean, he wrote several poems describing his experience of alcoholism and drug addiction. These are some of those poems.
