Auntie P, Music & Me is series of stories about a special young person who finds magical ways to connect with her aunt who is living with dementia. The story explores how people (of every age) can still connect with people despite confusion or emotional ups and downs. In the first book, All About Animals, Auntie P describes her favorite musical groups who all have names that sound like animals, including monkeys, eagles and beetles. Together Auntie P and her family discover that if they ask her to "tell me about it" they can connect in a meaningful and loving way. They also learn about some of the most popular American music from the 1950s-1980s.
